Using Electrical Sockets Safely at home in Birmingham

Last weekend I received a call out to an electrical problem in a flat In Birmingham being let to students. The landlord had informed me that there was no power in the flat.

Nothing unusual to begin with I might add. However when I got there I soon realised that I was looking at a very dangerous scenario. Thank goodness no one was injured or killed – luckily the electricity tripped before someone became a victim of electrical injury or death.

Entertainers – when did an electrician last check your equipment?

Entertainers come in many forms from magicians to disco DJ's, bands and stand up comedians. Whatever your clients tastes, most entertainers will have one identical need – and that is a need for electricity. Whether you need power for speakers, a microphone, amps or decks, it is imperative that your equipment is as safe as the supply you are plugging into.

How to find a good electrician in Birmingham
